Provide students with multiple and varied formative and summative assessments aligned with content and technology standards, and use resulting data to inform learning and teaching
Reflection: This standard is one that really allows the educator to create diverse assignments. I enjoyed creating the Edupuzzle and I feel this is an application that I can use with my students throughout my course. This standard asks the educator to think about assessment. This is an area that can be difficult in a computer class. By creating assessments using a variety of platforms the educator is creating diverse assessments. The assessments can then be varied to ensure they are aligned with the content and standards. I feel that by giving my students a needs assessment survey that I can assess their prior knowledge when beginning new units of study.
Future Learning Goal: My intentions are to use this new found knowledge and to incorporate a needs assessment before each unit of study and to incorporate Edupuzzle quizzes into my class.
