Reflection: Standard 1 is one that I have used throughout the progression of this class. I feel that the material I have created will assist my students if they have an issue. The video will serve as a support for my students who may have lost their way and who may need to have extra assistance. Scoop.it, will enable me to create a digital platform that hosts current information based on topics that I feel are relevant to the topics we are discussing. This platform will give my students the ability to investigate the topic we are discussing with real world examples. Over the past few weeks my group was able to complete assignments by utilizing Google applications. I can not wait to use Google Classroom this fall I will utilize the same applications with my students by having them share assignments and collaborate digitally. This will introduce them to 21st century skills that will be essential to their education.
Future Learning Goal:I intend to create a class Scoop.it account so that my students can see technology issues and trends. I also intend to create a video for each group project in the Code.org curriculum. I want to ensure that my students understand the tasks that need to be completed and that they can complete all of the required components. The video will allow them to watch each sections if they are unsure about an expectation.
